Acne problems are the fabric of, and on the short list of most teenage nightmares. In their teen years, and even up to their mid twenties, hormones are swinging wildly with the opposite sex now taking on a far more meaningful part of their lives, stress is a problem, and soda and junk food (French fries, potato chips, burgers, pizzas etc) are usually a significant part of the diet. These are the factors that set the stage for that giant-size acne problem.
So is there a cure for acne. Well yes and no. There are many products available and for some they are a cure, for others they do not help. A cure is only a cure when you find a product that works for you.
Rosacea most commonly affects patients aged 30 to 50 with fair complexions, most notably those of Irish and Northern European descent, but it affects and is probably under-recognized in darker-skinned patients. The age of onset helps distinguish rosacea from acne. Rosacea is often passed on in families, with women being afflicted more often than their male counterparts. The sun may also heat the skin and cause it to blush. None of them has been definitely confirmed, other than the contributing factors of sunlight and heat.
